Situated on the Belmont Shore coastline in Long Beach, this Civic Youth Center replaces the existing Belmont Pool with a community-driven space for recreation, creativity, and support. Featuring youth-operated café and bike/skate shops, fitness and media spaces, counseling resources, and sustainable systems including a green roof and solar panels, the project encourages leadership, social responsibility, and connection through architecture rooted in coastal community life.
